In this comprehensive Pharmacy Tech Certificate Program, students will delve into essential topics such as medication dosage calculations, pharmaceutical terminology, pharmacy operations and medication safety protocols. Coursework combines instructor‐led/video‐based training, practical activities and simulations performed by students and graded by our instructors.
At the end of the course, students also complete a six‐week internship experience at a local pharmacy.
This program is formally accredited by the ASHP/ACPE. Upon completion of this program, students will have the knowledge to sit for the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) exam sponsored by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). MedCerts covers the cost of this exam.
